**Brand:** Samsung
**Price Range:** $1600.99 across 4 retailers

## Pros
- Exceptional clarity and crispness with true 8K resolution, making it ideal for productivity and detailed viewing.
- Large 75-inch screen offers ample space for multitasking, such as managing documents and spreadsheets.
- Mini LED technology delivers impressive brightness and contrast, performing well in typical office and living room lighting.
- Excellent upscaling capabilities that significantly enhance lower-resolution content, including 4K video.
- The external One Connect box reduces the TV’s weight and tidies cable management, making setup cleaner and lighter than typical 75" TVs.
- Slim bezels create an immersive, nearly borderless viewing experience.
- Integration with SmartThings allows viewing security cameras and other smart home connectivity.
- Supports voice assistants like Bixby and Alexa; Google Assistant support is promised but not fully functional yet.
- Offers reliable, consistent picture quality comparable to higher-end and higher-priced models, while avoiding OLED burn-in risks.
- Versatile input support, including HDMI for PC connections, supports multitasking and gaming well when system resources allow.

## Cons
- Some units have experienced serious reliability issues, including failure to turn on or black screens after a short period of use, with frustrating warranty and customer service experiences.
- Sound quality is mediocre; a soundbar and subwoofer are strongly recommended for movies and music enthusiasts.
- The One Connect cable is not replaceable or extendable, limiting installation flexibility.
- Some users reported the One Connect box’s HDMI ports and optical output failing to recognize any inputs, indicating possible hardware defects in some units.
- Pixel defects such as red lines have appeared shortly after use in rare cases, suggesting potential durability concerns.
- Roku platform support feels incomplete for this 2024 model, lacking full integration and control features.
- Google Assistant integration is advertised but currently unavailable or difficult to set up, limiting smart assistant functionality.
- Returning or servicing the TV can be complicated due to poor customer service reported by some users.
- High frame rates at 8K gaming are currently very demanding on GPUs, limiting gaming performance at native 8K.
